About
Professional History
For more than fifteen years, I have had the privilege of sitting with people in some of the most tender and complicated places of their lives. I am continually moved by what happens when we slow down, become curious about what lies beneath the surface, and begin to understand ourselves—and one another—with greater compassion.
I have always been drawn to complexity. I do not believe people can be reduced to a diagnosis, a behavior, or one side of a story. The patterns that create distance in our relationships often began as intelligent ways of protecting ourselves. They may no longer be serving us, but they make sense when we understand where they came from.
My work is grounded in attachment, trauma growth/resilience, and emotional regulation. I help adults and couples recognize the emotional architecture beneath their struggles: the fears and longings they may not yet have words for, the protective strategies that take over in moments of vulnerability, and the cycles that leave them feeling unseen, overwhelmed, or alone.
Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, and other research based approaches, I work with both the body and the mind's story. Insight matters, but insight alone is not always enough. Lasting change often happens through a new emotional experience—when we can remain present with what once felt intolerable, risk being known more fully, and experience connection where we once expected rejection.
My role is not to assign blame or offer surface reassurance. It is to help you hold the complexity of your story without losing sight of your capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful connection.
