I believe healing happens when we can stay steady in the presence of what feels overwhelming. Much of our suffering comes from patterns we learned to survive — patterns that once protected us but now interfere with connection. In our work together, we slow down, make sense of complexity, and build relationships that feel more secure and intentional.

Services

Individual

Individual therapy offers a space to understand the emotional patterns that shape your choices, relationships, and sense of self. Together, we work to hold the parts of your story that feel confusing or painful, so they no longer control your present.

COUPLES

Couples therapy focuses on the emotional cycles that keep partners stuck. When we can slow those cycles down and understand the attachment needs underneath them, connection becomes less reactive and more intentional.

Family Therapy

Family therapy sessions are designed to improve familial relationships by understanding behavioral patterns, promoting clear communication and healing from past hurts that have inhibited connection  within the family unit.

My Approach

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy is an attachment-based treatment with interventions that are experiential and in the moment.  Using this model in session allows relationships to shift, new insights to be secured and bonds of trust and compassion to be strengthened.  It is a non critical, non blaming therapeutic stance that supports couples and families as they come together and work toward their mutual goals of understanding, forgiveness and closeness.

EFT aligns naturally with my approach because it helps clients remain engaged with difficult emotions long enough to create new relational experiences.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Repossessing)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from traumatic experiences, including early attachment wounds.  Using guided eye movements or other forms of bi-lateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain in reprocessing  distressing memories so they can become less emotionally charged.  This process allows clients to feel more grounded, secure, and emotionally responsive in their present lives.

EMDR is highly effective for treating PTSD, acute stress disorder, complex PTSD (attachment  trauma), anxiety disorders, grief and complicated bereavement, pain disorders and somatic symptoms.  It can also be of help in the treatment of OCD, depressive disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders and substance abuse.  It engages the brain’s natural healing ability to foster lasting emotional and relational growth.

EMDR allows the nervous system to process unresolved experiences so that clients can hold present relationships without being overwhelmed by the past.

A Safe Space Both In Person and Virtually

Therapy is not simply a safe space. It is a structured and intentional relationship where complexity can be explored without judgment and connection can be rebuilt with clarity and steadiness.
